The guest accommodation at Under Oaks is nothing short of uninterrupted tranquility and luxury. The Guesthouse is situated between the vineyards and is stylishly designed and decorated to assure complete comfort . The eight spacious en-suite rooms are individually decorated and most feature a private patio with breath-taking views of the farm dam, surrounding mountains and Boland valley.

A small saltwater pool gives you the opportunity to cool down on warm summer days. Soak up the sun whilst enjoying clean, fresh air and spectacular views. We are situated a couple of kilometres from central Paarl so a vehicle is highly recommended.

Breakfast at our Guesthouse

An overnight stay in the Guesthouse includes a relaxed, unhurried breakfast which is served in the Manor House on Under Oaks daily between 7:30am and 9:30am. Soak up the views down to the farm dam as you watch the sun rising over the Drakenstein Mountains. An unpretentious, delicious home-made spread features a mini buffet of fruits and yoghurt and freshly baked goods followed by a hot breakfast of the day. The Manor House is a short easy walk from the Guesthouse. Alternatively we kindly ask that you use your own vehicle for convenience.

Guesthouse Amenities

Our Guesthouse offers a range of amenities designed for relaxation and enjoyment. A small, saltwater pools overlooks the farm dam, where you can unwind while taking in the serene views and diverse birdlife. Loungers and umbrellas are available for soaking up the sun.

We offer various platters that can be enjoyed on your private outdoor patio. Perfect with a bottle of Under Oaks wine and offer a quiet, romantic option should dining out not be on the agenda.

Located on a working farm there are plenty of walking or running routes to discover and explore giving you the chance to see table grape vineyards, citrus orchards and vineyards.

The Tasting Room on Under Oaks is also a short walk from the Guesthouse and we invite you to join us for a memorable wine tasting experience.

Carlos from Under Oaks Pizzeria would love to welcome you to enjoy the best pizza south of Italy. Enjoy the relaxed Under Oaks experience in the Pizzeria which is housed in the original Jonkmanshuis and outside under the trees. Authentic thin based wood fired pizzas generously topped with a variety of the freshest ingredients.

For alternate dining experiences we recommend our sister property, The Grande Roche Hotel, situated in the heart of Paarl. The property offers various dining experiences from the elevated Grande Roche Dining Experience served for lunch and dinner to Winnifred’s which is open daily from 10am. Winnifred’s offers a wide variety of rustic, casual all day dining.

Cancellation Policy

A minimum of R100,00 or 10% of the total booking value will be deducted from all refunds as administrative charges. Cancellation up to 30 days before arrival full refund less administrative charges. Cancellation up to 8 days before arrival 50% of the booking total will be forfeited. Cancellations 7 days and fewer before arrival and in case of no-show 100% of the booking total will be forfeited.
